Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Amit Kulkarni has stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Fireside Ventures, marking a key leadership transition at the early-stage consumer-focused venture capital firm. In his new role, he will lead fund finance, strategy, investor relations, deal closures, and portfolio management, while heading the Finance, Legal, and Governance Centre of Excellence in service of Fireside’s portfolio companies and founders.
With a strong background in fund finance and investor relations, Amit Kulkarni brings deep expertise in managing financial strategy for high-growth investment platforms. Prior to his elevation as CFO, he served as Director – Finance and Investor Relations at Fireside Ventures, where he was responsible for fund finance, legal oversight, portfolio finance, investor relations, and supporting portfolio fundraises and exits. Earlier, he held the role of Vice President – Finance and Investor Relations at the firm, playing a critical role in strengthening Fireside’s financial governance and investor-facing processes.
Before joining Fireside Ventures, Amit Kulkarni worked with Manipal Health Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. as Assistant General Manager – Finance, where he was involved in financial management within one of India’s leading healthcare groups. He began his professional career in the assurance and advisory space with S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP, gaining nearly seven years of experience across audit and financial advisory assignments. His early training also included internships with Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Mohan & Sridhar, Chartered Accountants, laying a strong foundation in accounting and compliance.
Across his career, he has developed a strong track record in fund operations, investor engagement, portfolio finance, and governance—capabilities that will be central to supporting Fireside Ventures’ growing portfolio of consumer brands.
