Segura’s appointment comes as Footasylum seeks to strengthen its position in the streetwear market and enhance its commercial strategies under new leadership. Before taking on this new role, Segura served as General Manager at AW LAB from 2016, where he demonstrated considerable prowess in commercial leadership within the animal health and nutrition industry.
David Pujolar Segura is recognized for his significant contributions and achievements in various leadership roles at some of the most iconic brands in the industry, including adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, and Foot Locker. His extensive experience and successful track record in strategic management of global accounts, enhancing engagement, and improving service delivery for key clients worldwide have positioned him as a pivotal addition to the Footasylum team. Segura has been instrumental in transforming go-to-market strategies across diverse animal species sectors, leading to substantial sales and revenue growth.

Footasylum has been under new ownership since its acquisition by Aurelius Group in August 2022 for £37.5 million, following a mandate from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) that required JD Sports to sell the brand due to competition concerns. This acquisition and the appointment of a new CEO mark a new chapter for Footasylum as it aims to expand its presence and influence in the retail sector.
