Brighton, England, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Francesca Laycock has taken on the role of Head of People & Culture at Black Rock Restaurants, where she will lead initiatives to enhance workplace culture, employee engagement, and operational excellence across the group’s acclaimed dining establishments.
Laycock transitions to this new position after serving as Human Resources Manager at Black Rock Restaurants, where she contributed significantly to driving culture change and refining HR strategies over the past five months.
Before joining Black Rock Restaurants, Laycock was Operations Manager at CellVoyant, an AI-driven biotechnology company, for over two years. At CellVoyant, she worked at the intersection of advanced technology and life sciences, supporting the company’s ambitious mission to revolutionize stem cell-based therapies.
Her earlier career includes nearly eight years at Turtle Bay Restaurants, where she held the position of People & Operations Project Manager. In this role, she played a pivotal part in streamlining operations and managing key HR and operational projects.
Laycock also spent close to five years as Advertisement Support Manager at Immediate, where she honed her skills in operational management and team leadership.
