New York, United States, January 2025 – Gabriella Montalvo has joined The Rug Company as its Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Gabriella will spearhead the brand’s marketing strategy, driving innovation, growth, and global brand recognition for the world-renowned leader in contemporary handmade rugs.
Gabriella brings a wealth of experience in luxury brand marketing and strategy. Before joining The Rug Company, she served as Director of Strategy – NA Marketing at Calvin Klein, where she played a pivotal role in refining marketing strategies across North America, driving customer engagement, and elevating the brand’s iconic status over nearly three years.

Prior to Calvin Klein, Gabriella held the position of Director of Marketing & E-commerce at Rosetta Getty, where she successfully integrated marketing initiatives with e-commerce strategies, driving growth and customer loyalty. She also served as Marketing & E-commerce Manager at Givenchy, focusing on enhancing digital channels and improving customer outreach.
Her expertise in media and brand management was honed during her tenure as Media & Marketing Manager at Burberry, where she led innovative campaigns and collaborations. Earlier in her career, she served as Media Manager at Publicis Groupe, collaborating with some of the world’s leading luxury brands such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Gucci under the Kering umbrella.
Gabriella began her journey in the industry with internships at PR Consulting and Edelman, gaining valuable insights into public relations and brand communication.
