Amit Mishra Appointed Regional Head – Total Rewards, India & South Asia at Hitachi Energy

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 — Amit Mishra has started a new role as Regional Head – Total Rewards, India & South Asia at Hitachi Energy, marking a significant step in his leadership journey in global rewards and talent strategy.

In this role, Amit is responsible for developing and managing local compensation strategies aligned with global objectives to enhance organizational effectiveness. He will provide consultative expertise on compensation matters to support management teams in strategic decision-making and partner closely with HR Business Partners to analyze compensation issues, ensuring competitive practices and regulatory compliance across the India & South Asia region.

Prior to joining Hitachi Energy, Amit spent over eight years at Landis+Gyr, where he held multiple leadership roles across Talent Management and Total Rewards. Most recently, he served as Global Rewards Expert, collaborating with cross-functional global teams to shape and optimize compensation and benefits strategies aligned with governance standards and business objectives. He also headed Talent Management, Total Rewards, and HR Operations for Landis+Gyr India and its Global Development Center, driving engagement, retention, and strategic workforce initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Amit held senior HR leadership roles at Intex Technologies (India) Ltd., Religare Health Insurance (RHI), Jakson Group, and NDDB Dairy Services (World Bank-funded National Dairy Plan 1), contributing to organization development, HR process transformation, performance management, and total rewards frameworks. His professional foundation also includes experience at Schneider Electric, India Glycols Limited, and Eicher Goodearth Pvt. Ltd., where he handled HR generalist and OD responsibilities across manufacturing and corporate environments.

With nearly two decades of experience spanning total rewards strategy, talent management, organizational development, and HR operations, Amit Mishra brings a comprehensive and globally aligned perspective to Hitachi Energy’s people strategy as the organization continues powering a sustainable energy future.
