Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, October 2025 — Gagan Bharadwaj has been appointed as Executive Vice President – Supply Chain Management at Intas Pharmaceuticals. With decades of leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, and international logistics, he will now play a key role in strengthening Intas’ global supply chain operations, ensuring resilience, efficiency, and innovation across its pharmaceutical business.
Before rejoining Intas, Gagan served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where he led strategic supply chain initiatives driving operational excellence across the organization.
His previous tenure at Intas Pharmaceuticals spanned over eight years, during which he held leadership roles including Associate EVP – Supply Chain, Senior Vice President – Supply Chain, and Vice President – Procurement & International Logistics. In these positions, he drove procurement strategies, logistics optimization, and loan licence manufacturing operations.
Earlier, Gagan spent close to a decade with the Zydus Group (Zydus Cadila), where he was Senior General Manager – Global Demand and Supply Organisation, leading global demand and supply planning. He also gained experience at Teva Pharmaceuticals as Chief Manager – Material Planning and Procurement, and at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited as Senior Manager – Purchase, where he honed his expertise in procurement and supply chain leadership.
He began his career at Indo Rama Synthetics (I) Ltd., where he built his foundation in materials management. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (Advanced Business Leadership Programme) and the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai (GDMM), Gagan brings strong academic and leadership credentials to his new role.
