Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 — Gagandeep Bedi has been appointed as the Head of Marketing at Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company) India, bringing with him over a decade of leadership in brand strategy, go-to-market execution, and consumer marketing. In his new role, Bedi will lead marketing efforts across digital, offline, and retail channels, supporting the brand’s ambitions to expand its market presence and connect more deeply with Indian consumers.
Prior to joining Motorola Mobility India, Gagandeep Bedi served as Head of Marketing at Infinix India, where he successfully led offline marketing, new category launches, and direct-to-consumer initiatives across India and Nepal. Before that, he was Head of Marketing – Consumer BU at Beetel Teletech Limited, spearheading multi-channel marketing programs and business insight-led campaigns.
Bedi’s career includes pivotal roles at Transsion, LeEco, and Reliance Jio, where he was responsible for managing large-scale budgets, retail branding, and integrated marketing campaigns that drove significant demand generation. At Samsung Electronics, he handled retail marketing and visual merchandising for Samsung Mobile, while his earlier stints at Bharti Retail, INQ Mobile, Walmart, Hutch, and Asian Paints honed his capabilities in retail execution, experiential marketing, and strategic brand communication.
With this appointment, Motorola Mobility India is poised to reinforce its positioning in the highly competitive smartphone market. Bedi’s extensive experience across retail visibility, channel engagement, and digital activations will be instrumental in shaping Motorola’s marketing roadmap and scaling its growth trajectory in India.
