Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2024 – Garima Shukla has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President – Human Resources at Reliance General Insurance. With a remarkable tenure of over 10 years at Reliance General Insurance, Garima’s promotion reflects her immense contributions and dedication to the organization. Garima Shukla has been a cornerstone of Reliance General Insurance for over a decade. Prior to her promotion, she served as the Vice President – Human Resources for approximately 4 years. In this role, she demonstrated exceptional leadership in HR strategies and practices, contributing significantly to the company’s success.
For about 2 years, Garima held the position of Head – Talent & Rewards, where she was instrumental in talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and HR analytics. Her strategic vision and execution skills were pivotal in enhancing the organization’s HR functions.
As the Associate Segment Head – Total Rewards & Talent Management for around 2 years, Garima focused on compensation benchmarking, succession planning, and rewards and recognition. Her efforts in HR digitization and process automation were noteworthy.
Starting her journey with Reliance General Insurance as Deputy Manager – Human Resources (Performance & Rewards Lead) for approximately 6 months, Garima quickly rose through the ranks due to her expertise in performance management, variable pay plans, and employee engagement.
Before joining Reliance General Insurance, Garima worked at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance for over 5 years, where she held various roles, including Deputy Manager – Human Resources (HRBP) and Assistant Manager HR (HRBP). Her early career at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance laid a strong foundation for her HR skills and capabilities.
