Hyderabad, Telangana, India, February 2026 — Gaurav Rana has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources at Bank of America, marking a significant milestone in his HR leadership journey. In his expanded role, he continues to support large-scale enterprise functions, driving strategic talent priorities and partnering closely with senior leaders across the organization.
Prior to this promotion, Gaurav Rana served as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources at Bank of America, where he acted as an HR Business Partner for Enterprise Control Functions and Operational Excellence teams within Global Business Services. In this role, he managed a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees and led strategic talent initiatives while advising leaders and employees on complex people matters.
Before joining Bank of America, he worked as a Talent Business Advisor at Deloitte (Deloitte India – Offices of the US), partnering with business leaders on talent reviews, performance management, compensation planning, and employee lifecycle initiatives to enhance workforce experience.
Earlier, Rana held a managerial role at Wipro, where he led talent management programs for senior leaders, including succession planning, organizational design, and HR innovation initiatives. He also gained consulting experience at Willis Towers Watson, delivering HR transformation projects and compensation benchmarking engagements. His early career included roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions in talent acquisition and HSBC in dispute operations.
Gaurav Rana holds an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
