Istanbul, Türkiye, January 2026 — Bupa Türkiye has appointed Tolga Eryoldaş as Chief People & Legal Officer (CPLO). In this expanded leadership role, Tolga will lead the People, Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Governance agenda, aligning talent strategy, labour and employment law, and regulatory compliance with the organisation’s growth, transformation, and customer-centric objectives.
In his new position, Tolga partners closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to strengthen organisational effectiveness, drive cultural transformation, and ensure sustainable performance across the business. His appointment comes at a pivotal phase in Bupa Türkiye’s journey as it continues to expand its integrated health services footprint in line with Bupa’s global healthcare vision.
Before joining Bupa Türkiye, Tolga served as Vice President – Human Resources and Global Head of Talent Management & Acquisition at IHH Healthcare Berhad, based in Singapore. In this role, he led global talent management and acquisition strategies for a workforce of over 67,000 employees across multiple countries. He was instrumental in designing and executing IHH’s first global succession planning initiative for senior leaders, improving leadership readiness and shifting the organisation’s talent philosophy from “buy” to “build.” His work also included global mobility initiatives, leadership development frameworks, executive hiring, and the implementation of digital talent management platforms.
Earlier, Tolga was Human Resources Director / CHRO at Acibadem Healthcare Group, where he oversaw HR operations for more than 22,000 employees across Turkey and several European markets. During this tenure, he led large-scale digital HR transformation initiatives, supervised extensive HR teams, introduced award-winning international internship programs, and implemented compensation innovations that significantly reduced employee turnover. His leadership was recognised multiple times by Forbes Turkey, naming him among the country’s leading HR leaders.
Tolga’s earlier career includes entrepreneurial experience as a Partner at Yeniinsan Human Resources Consultancy, providing HR advisory and outsourcing solutions to international organisations, as well as leadership roles at Sabanci Holding and Doğadan, where he built and scaled large commercial and people operations. He began his professional journey in the insurance and financial services sector at AvivaSA, gaining early exposure to recruitment, operations, and people management.
Tolga holds an MBA from Başkent University. With his rare combination of deep HR leadership, legal and governance oversight, and multinational healthcare experience, he is well positioned to lead Bupa Türkiye’s people and legal agenda in a highly regulated and rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
