Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2025 — Gautam Bhattacharya has been appointed as Partner & Head of Technology Consulting at KPMG India. In this strategic leadership role based in Bengaluru, he will be responsible for steering the firm’s technology consulting practice with a strong emphasis on enterprise transformation, digital modernization, and innovation-led growth for clients across diverse industries.
Gautam’s appointment marks a return to KPMG, where he earlier served in its U.S. consulting arm. He brings with him nearly 15 years of distinguished experience at EY India, where he held the role of Partner – Advisory Services and played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s consulting footprint in the region. His leadership was instrumental in enabling enterprise clients to navigate large-scale digital transformations and adopt future-ready technologies.
Prior to EY, Gautam held senior leadership roles at Quoreka, Bristlecone, and Intel Corporation, where he headed Enterprise Application Services. He also contributed to global transformation projects as a Senior Consultant at SAP, focusing on supply chain planning and optimization. His early consulting experience spans assignments with KPMG US and PwC, equipping him with deep cross-sectoral and international expertise.
With this appointment, KPMG India signals a clear intent to bolster its digital-first consulting offerings, building on Gautam’s strong background in cloud-led transformation, SAP logistics, and technology-enabled business strategy.
