Washington, D.C., United States, July 2025 – Gina Lau has taken on a new role as Head of People & Culture at Rewiring America, a nonprofit at the forefront of driving the country’s electrification movement. In this role, she will shape the organization’s people strategy, foster a values-aligned culture, and support its fast-scaling mission to tackle climate change through clean energy initiatives.
Gina brings more than 15 years of strategic HR leadership and coaching experience to Rewiring America. Most recently, she was the Founder & Principal of Alquimista Coaching & Consulting, where she worked with fast-scaling and early-stage companies on equity-centered leadership, executive coaching, and culture transformation. Simultaneously, she served as Strategic Advisor to organizations like Raise Commercial Real Estate and Vot-ER, offering guidance on people, purpose, and scale.
Before that, Gina held the role of Chief People & Wellbeing Officer at Catalight, where she led people, DEI, and culture strategy during a transformative phase for the organization. Earlier, she was part of Accenture’s Leadership, Culture, & DEI Strategy Consulting team, working on talent transformation in the tech and nonprofit sectors.
Gina also played a foundational HR leadership role at HelloSign, serving as Head of People and later Director, People Development & Experience, where she helped define the company’s culture pillars and people strategy. Her early career includes leadership roles at Scoop Technologies, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s, along with a meaningful sabbatical dedicated to public policy learning and volunteer work.
