Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2024 – Gopal Arora has been promoted to Head Franchisee Operations at JioMart Digital, a division of Reliance Retail. In his new role, Gopal will be responsible for overseeing and expanding franchisee operations across the country, leveraging his expertise to drive business strategy and franchise management. He will lead initiatives to enhance franchise relations and improve operational excellence, ensuring JioMart Digital’s continued success in the market.
Prior to his promotion, Gopal Arora served as the Regional Head – West & South at JioMart Digital for 2 years and 7 months, where he played a key role in expanding JioMart’s footprint across the region. His leadership skills were crucial in managing channel sales and leading customer relationship management efforts, helping to establish a robust sales network across the western and southern regions of India.
Before that, Gopal held the position of National Merchant Acquisition Head for JioMart Digital for over a year, where he focused on merchant onboarding and creating a seamless B2B2C experience. His work laid the foundation for JioMart’s expansion into new markets and strengthened the company’s relationship with key stakeholders.
Gopal’s earlier role as Head of Business Operations Center for JioMart Grocery from 2018 to 2021 showcased his expertise in operations management. During this period, he was responsible for overseeing business operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of JioMart’s grocery services across multiple locations.
With a career at Reliance Retail spanning over 6 years and 5 months, Gopal’s leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving the company’s growth, particularly in the digital commerce segment.
