Grundfos, a global leader in advanced water solutions, has appointed a new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) as of 1 September. Anne Grønbjerg (47) has been recruited internally, most recently having held the position of Vice President for Solutions & Marketing in Grundfos’ CBS division, which mainly supplies water pump solutions for large commercial buildings such as hospitals and office towers.
Anne Grønbjerg holds a graduate diploma in Business Management and Organisation, HD(O) from Copenhagen Business School and joined Grundfos in 2016, where she has held various leadership positions. Furthermore, her impressive CV includes experience from Maersk Line, Danfoss and KPMG within shipping, communications, HR, sales and business development.
As CHRO, Anne Grønbjerg will be responsible for Grundfos’ global HR strategy, and she will step into Grundfos’ Group Management. Grundfos CEO Poul Due Jensen has high expectations for his new leadership team member.
“I am extremely pleased that Anne has accepted the position as our new Chief Human Resources Officer. With her extensive knowledge of Grundfos’ culture, her value-based leadership and her strong strategic qualities, I cannot imagine a better qualified person for the job,” says Poul Due Jensen and adds: “Anne will further strengthen the ties between HR, our business, our employees and our purpose.”
In the past few years, Anne Grønbjerg has lived in Singapore, and she and her family will return to Denmark at the end of 2025. She looks forward to getting started in her new position.
“This is an important role, and I have accepted it with great humility and with an understanding that I step into a role where I will help take care of and develop Grundfos. I am proud to have been given this exciting opportunity. A strong HR team is the backbone of any successful organisation in which both the business and employees can thrive. I look forward to playing a part in the ongoing work to future-proof our organisation, ensuring we continue to deliver fantastic pumps and solutions to our customers and be a world-class workplace,” says Grundfos’ newly appointed CHRO.
Anne Grønbjerg will replace Mirjam Baijens, who is stepping down after having held the position for the past three and a half years.
