Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — Gruner Renewable Energy has appointed Devesh Garg as its Chief Commercial & Sales Officer (CCSO). In this role, Devesh will lead the company’s commercial strategy, sales growth, and strategic partnerships as Gruner Renewable Energy scales its renewable energy platform and builds long-term enterprise value.
With over three decades of leadership experience across Oil & Gas, Telecom Infrastructure, Industrial Products, and Automotive sectors, Devesh is widely recognized for driving large-scale commercial transformations. He has held P&L ownership exceeding USD 1 billion and brings deep expertise in strategic growth, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, capital allocation, and governance across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Before joining Gruner Renewable Energy, Devesh served as Chief Commercial & Sales Officer at Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust, where he played a critical role in capital allocation optimization, long-term tenancy renewals, digital sales transformation, and post-merger integration. His leadership helped strengthen customer confidence, improve operational turnaround times, and unlock significant long-term EBITDA potential.
Earlier, he was Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Summit Digitel, where he built the organization from inception, established its commercial framework and governance model, led investor engagements resulting in strong credit ratings, and secured strategic agreements with leading telecom operators. His tenure was marked by institutionalizing governance, scaling revenue models, and building high-performing commercial teams.
Devesh has also held senior leadership roles at Indus Towers Limited, where he led national sales, contract management, smart city initiatives, and large-scale merger integration programs. Prior to this, he held leadership positions at Ester Industries Limited, Gujarat Gas Company Limited (British Gas Group), LML, HCL Infosystems, and Honda Siel, consistently scaling businesses from early-stage growth to market leadership.
He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development, holds an MBA in International Business from Amity University, and a B.Tech in Industrial Production. He is widely regarded for building resilient, performance-driven teams and delivering sustained commercial growth through disciplined execution and strategic clarity.
