boAt Expands Shrey Walia’s Role to Lead New Business Verticals

New Delhi, Delhi, India – January 2026 — boAt, India’s No.1 audio wearables brand, today announced the expansion of Shrey Walia’s role. In addition to his current responsibilities as Business Head – Wearables and Accessories, he has been entrusted with the role of Business Head – New Business Verticals.

Over the past two plus years, Shrey has been an integral part of boAt’s growth journey, playing a meaningful role in building and scaling key businesses across wearables and charging solutions. In recognition of his strong ownership mindset, strategic leadership, and sustained impact, boAt has entrusted him with the expanded mandate of driving its next phase of growth through new and emerging business opportunities. In his expanded role, Shrey has already taken charge of the growth ventures charter and is actively leading efforts to identify, build, and scale new lines of business. His focus will be on shaping scalable and sustainable business models that align closely with boAt’s long-term vision and evolving consumer needs.

Commenting on the appointment, Gaurav Nayyar, CEO, boAt, said: “Shrey has consistently demonstrated a sharp business acumen, deep consumer understanding, and a strong bias for execution. As boAt continues to evolve beyond its core categories, building new growth engines becomes critical. Speaking on his expanded role, Shrey Walia said: “I’m grateful for the trust and confidence the leadership team has placed in me. boAt has always been a brand that thinks ahead of the curve, and I’m excited to take on this responsibility of building new lines of business that can scale sustainably and create long-term value. I look forward to continuing this journey and contributing to boAt’s next phase of growth.”

Shrey holds a B.Tech degree from Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi.
