Cropnosys India Appoints Pritesh Desai as Chief Manufacturing Officer

Vapi, Gujarat, India, January 2026 — Cropnosys India Pvt Ltd has announced the appointment of Pritesh Desai as its Chief Manufacturing Officer. In this role, he will lead manufacturing operations across multiple units and oversee AI tolling operations, strengthening operational excellence and capacity growth across the organization.

Pritesh brings over 27 years of extensive manufacturing leadership experience spanning agrochemical active ingredients, formulations, and contract manufacturing. He has played a pivotal role in diversifying manufacturing capabilities beyond agrochemicals into EV chemicals, high-end polymers, and pharmaceutical APIs, while driving continuous improvements in productivity, cost optimisation, safety, and environmental performance.

Prior to joining Cropnosys India, Pritesh served as Vice President – Operations at Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, where he was responsible for manufacturing operations and production management, supporting complex chemical manufacturing portfolios and scaling operational efficiency.

Earlier, he spent over 26 years with UPL, where he progressed through senior leadership roles, including Head of Production and General Manager. During his long tenure, he was instrumental in managing large-scale production facilities, enhancing yield and quality, supporting capacity expansions, and strengthening manufacturing systems across multiple sites in Gujarat.

Pritesh holds an MSc in Organic Chemistry from South Gujarat University, Surat, and has completed several advanced technical and project-based programmes from IIT Bombay, underscoring his strong foundation in process excellence, technological upgradation, and advanced manufacturing practices.
