As the CTO, Nizar Trigui will report to Malcolm Wilson, the CEO of GXO, and will oversee the company’s global technology function. Trigui’s role will involve collaborating with GXO’s innovation leaders to integrate cutting-edge technology seamlessly into the company’s future growth strategies.

Malcolm Wilson expressed his enthusiasm for the new role and Trigui’s appointment, stating, “This new global technology role realizes our commitment to provide our customers the cutting-edge competitive advantage they need to exceed their customers’ expectations and grow market share. Nizar is more than a technology expert — he’s a true leader with a track record of building tech-powered organizations. He will immediately add value by bringing his extensive technology and leadership experience to our highly automated operations and level-up our future technology deployment plans for blue-chip customers around the world.”

Trigui comes to GXO with a rich background in technology leadership, most recently having served as Chief Executive Officer of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. During his tenure, he achieved significant growth for the group’s solution business. Prior to Bridgestone, he was the Chief Technology Officer for the Americas at the same company, where he introduced several groundbreaking technologies. Trigui has also held notable positions at Dura Automotive Systems and began his illustrious career at Ford Motor Company, gaining extensive experience in product strategy and development.

Effective immediately, Trigui will be contributing his expertise from Greenwich, Conn., positioning GXO to further its reach as one of the globe’s most technologically sophisticated providers of warehouse solutions. This strategic appointment underscores GXO’s commitment to driving efficiency and innovation in logistics, catering to the complex needs of businesses in an era dominated by e-commerce, automation, and outsourcing.
