Jakarta, Indonesia, February 2025 – Victoria Aswien has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer at L’Oréal. In her new role, she will lead HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development across L’Oréal’s operations, driving employee engagement, leadership development, and workforce planning initiatives.
With nearly 20 years of HR leadership experience, Victoria Aswien has held pivotal roles across various industries, specializing in human capital management, talent strategy, and leadership development.
Prior to joining L’Oréal, she served as the Human Resources Director at Diageo for nearly five years, where she played a key role in developing people strategies, coaching senior leaders, and implementing HR transformation initiatives. She was instrumental in building a high-performance culture and aligning HR policies with business growth strategies.
Before Diageo, Aswien worked at PT SMART Tbk as HR Corporate – Group Technology, where she provided HR consultation and leadership support to the digital business unit.
She also held leadership roles at Royal Canin as People & Organization Director for the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia, overseeing talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. She played a key role in strengthening HR processes across multiple markets.
Earlier in her career, Aswien spent nearly a decade at PT HM Sampoerna Tbk, where she led talent management, recruitment, and sales HR strategy. She was responsible for designing and implementing talent pipelines, graduate trainee programs, and performance management systems across the company.
