Boston, Massachusetts, United States, September 2025 — Suffolk Construction has announced the appointment of Hallie Sewall as its new Director of People & Culture, Strategy & Enablement. With over a decade of experience in people strategy, early career programs, and workforce development, Hallie brings proven expertise in building talent pipelines, advancing organizational culture, and creating inclusive growth opportunities.
Hallie has been with Suffolk Construction since 2023, most recently serving as Senior Manager, National Career Mobility. In this role, she was responsible for enabling associate growth and mobility across the organization. Before that, she led Suffolk’s National Campus Programs for nearly two years, strengthening university partnerships and early career hiring strategies to attract and develop emerging talent across the country.
Prior to joining Suffolk, Hallie spent nearly five years with Converse, where she managed intern and early career programs for both Converse and Jordan brands. She led the company’s global internship program, oversaw university relations, and built initiatives to create meaningful pathways for young professionals in the sportswear and retail industries.
Earlier in her career, Hallie served as TA Manager, Early Career/Diversity Recruiting & Programs at CA Technologies, where she focused on hiring diverse talent and building inclusive recruitment programs. Before that, she worked at Wayfair as Campus Recruiter and Co-op Program Manager, designing and scaling early talent pipelines for the fast-growing e-commerce leader.
Her career journey began in the nonprofit and education sector, where she spent nearly two years with Best Buddies International as Lead Employment Consultant, securing competitive employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She was recognized with the Global Employee of the Month Award in 2015 for her impact. Hallie also worked as a Special Education Aid and Lead Counselor at JCC North Shore earlier in her career.
