Riga, Latvia, September 2025 – Wandoo Finance Group has announced the appointment of Harijs Poikāns as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, he will spearhead the company’s global marketing strategies, brand positioning, and communication initiatives as Wandoo continues to innovate in financial technologies and expand its international presence.
Most recently, Harijs was associated with 4finance for more than a decade, where he held leadership roles including Regional Marketing Director and Head of Marketing Department. Over nearly 13 years, he oversaw marketing and PR activities across Latvia, Sweden, and other markets, working with well-known brands such as SMScredit.lv, Vivus.lv, Vivus.se, Ondo.lv, and Kimbi.lv. He also directed CSR and customer education platforms like 4finance Fonds Labie Darbi and aiznemiesatbildigi.lv, playing a critical role in strengthening brand trust and consumer engagement.
Alongside his corporate role, Harijs contributed to industry development as a Member of the Public Relations Expert Group at Fintech Latvia Association for over three years, where he supported the representation of fintech interests at both national and international levels, advocating for sustainable industry growth.
Earlier in his career, Harijs spent over five years at PHD, progressing from Account Manager to Account Director, where he managed key client portfolios such as Unilever, Tallink, If P&C, Food Union, and Linstow Center Management. His responsibilities included strategic recommendations, budget management, and driving client marketing campaigns across multiple industries.
