In this role, Harriet will lead talent acquisition strategies, focusing on attracting top-notch professionals who align with LB Group’s high standards and growth ambitions. Her extensive experience in talent management and recruitment across various sectors will be instrumental as LB Group continues its expansion and commitment to providing quality client services.
Before joining LB Group, Harriet served as Talent Acquisition Manager at Birketts LLP, a prominent Top 50 UK law firm, where she was responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle across seven offices. In her role, she handled recruitment for various roles, from junior to senior levels, ensuring alignment with Birketts’ core values and high standards. Harriet also implemented initiatives to continuously enhance recruitment processes, leveraging diverse talent pipelines and promoting a strong employer value proposition to potential candidates.
Prior to Birketts, Harriet worked at AXA UK as a Resource Partner within the Talent Acquisition team, where she supported hiring across all skill levels and locations. Managing approximately 2,300 roles annually, she played a critical part in maintaining AXA’s direct sourcing model and contributed to the team’s goal of a 96% direct hire rate, demonstrating her effectiveness in high-volume recruitment environments.
Earlier in her career, Harriet held the position of Business Recruitment Manager at IT Fleet Automotive, overseeing the recruitment strategy across seven branches. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Harriet led a team to fulfill staffing needs for both large-scale and specialized roles, including HR Manager and Chief Financial Officer positions. Her role involved comprehensive recruitment management, from liaising with department heads to creating job specifications and overseeing budget planning.
Harriet began her professional journey with Reed as a Business Manager and Temporaries Manager, where she managed a team of nine consultants, set performance targets, and developed local business marketing plans to maximize recruitment opportunities in the Suffolk market. Her work also involved contract negotiation and reporting on team performance at the director level, further shaping her expertise in talent acquisition and management.
