Louisville, Kentucky, United States, April 2025 – Heather Cunningham has been promoted to Sr. Director, Talent Development at Atria Management Company, a key leadership role where she will be responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide learning strategy, leadership development, and continuous talent growth initiatives across Atria’s expansive portfolio of senior living communities.
Heather has served Atria for over four years, most recently as Director, Employee Development, where she led impactful learning initiatives and played a vital role in enhancing employee performance and organizational culture. Prior to that, she was Manager, Learning & Development, during which she designed and delivered employee training programs aligned with operational excellence and leadership development.
Before joining Atria, Heather served as a Certified Trainer at Dale Carnegie Training for nearly a decade, where she conducted executive coaching and facilitated high-impact training programs focused on communication, leadership, and team effectiveness. Her expertise in facilitation and talent engagement helped transform teams across industries.
Earlier in her career, Heather held several progressive leadership roles in higher education, including Senior Director of Admissions at Sullivan University, and Director of Admissions at Sullivan College of Technology and Design, where she led enrollment strategies and mentoring programs that drove student engagement and admissions success.
Heather’s early experience includes managing residential communities and sales roles at Stonehedge Apartments and Insight Communications, where she honed her skills in customer experience, community leadership, and operational management.
