New York City, New York, United States – November 2024 – Greater Mental Health of New York welcomes Héctor Cariño as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, where he will lead the organization’s human resources functions, strategic people initiatives, and culture development to support its mission of mental health and wellness across New York.
Before joining Greater Mental Health of New York, Héctor served as an Interim Leader in Human Resources / People & Culture / People Operations at People Architects Group, LLC. With over 14 years of experience in fractional HR leadership, he has a proven track record in implementing comprehensive HR frameworks, redesigning HR processes for post-pandemic operations, and supporting start-ups and established institutions in various HR functions, including talent management, diversity initiatives, and organizational development.
Previously, Héctor was the Director of Operations at GlobalHue, a leading advertising agency, where he managed multiple operational departments and optimized processes to enhance client services. His strategic initiatives included expanding employee benefits and implementing structural efficiencies across three national offices, ultimately supporting clients like Ad Council, Subway, and Verizon Wireless.
Earlier in his career, Héctor held the position of VP, Director of Human Resources & Administration at The Bravo Group (a Young & Rubicam Brands & WPP co.). There, he launched the first employee engagement survey, achieving a high participation rate and successfully sourced key talent across various departments, strengthening the agency’s capacity for growth.
