Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2024 – Pooja Marwah has been named the Global Head of Talent Management at Bata Group, a pivotal role in which she will spearhead the company’s talent strategies, shaping workforce engagement, development, and performance management on a global scale. With over 15 years of rich HR experience, Pooja is set to play a significant role in strengthening Bata Group’s talent ecosystem.
Pooja has been associated with Bata Group for the past three years, previously serving as the Vice President of Global Talent Management, where she successfully drove the company’s global talent development initiatives.

Prior to Bata, she served as Assistant Vice President, HR at Reliance Brands Limited, where she oversaw HR operations and contributed to strategic workforce planning. Earlier, as HR Director for IPG DXTRA, Pooja led talent and human resource strategies across several global marketing companies in India.
Her tenure at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd was marked by progressive leadership roles, including National Head – People Processes and Policies, where she managed performance management, development forums, and HR policies. She also held leadership positions in engagement, diversity, and talent management strategies at Coca-Cola.
Pooja’s career began at VF Corporation, where she served as Regional HR Manager and Assistant Manager – HR.
Pooja holds a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management from the Xavier Institute of Social Service, showcasing her strong academic foundation in HR.
