Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, June 2024 – Smartlinks is pleased to welcome Heera Ganjikota as the new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). With a robust background in logistics, software, and leadership, Heera is well-equipped to drive Smartlinks’s strategic growth and innovation.
Heera brings a wealth of experience spanning over two decades into this role. Before his current role, he served as a Coach & Advisor to CEO at Smartlinks for 1 year and 4 months, providing strategic guidance and leadership coaching.
Heera is the Founder – Performance & Leadership Coach at Pivot Pipers Coaching & Consulting LLP, where he has been helping leaders enhance their performance and leadership skills for the past four years. Concurrently, he has also been a Leadership Coach at the Institute of Product Leadership for 4 years and 2 months, and a Member Board Of Trustees at the Institution for Wholeness & Integration for 5 years and 6 months.
Prior to these roles, Heera was the Global Director, Automation at AB InBev, where he drove process efficiencies using advanced technologies such as RPA, chatbots, and artificial intelligence. His tenure at AB InBev lasted for 1 year and 11 months.
Heera also served as the Vice President, Supply Chain Center of Excellence at Airtel for 9 months, focusing on supply chain process transformation, governance, and compliance.
Heera’s extensive experience in consulting includes 8 years and 2 months at JDA Software, where he held various leadership roles, including Vice President, Consulting Services, Senior Director, Consulting Services, and Director, Consulting Services. At JDA Software, he led business transformation, analytics, and innovation initiatives.
Before joining JDA Software, Heera worked at i2 Technologies India for 6 years and 4 months, holding roles such as Practice Manager & Solution Strategist (Logistics & Transportation) and Transportation Practice Manager/Senior Solution Architect. He was instrumental in designing and implementing transportation solutions for various industries.
Earlier in his career, Heera was a Buyer (Logistics Purchasing) at General Motors India, where he managed contracts with 3PL service providers and achieved significant logistics savings. He began his career as an Assistant Manager at Reliance Industries Limited, working in mechanical maintenance in the utilities division.
