Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 — Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has announced the appointment of Hemant Rupani as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition for the company.
Hemant joins HCCB after a notable nine-year tenure at Mondelēz International, where he held several impactful roles. Most recently, he served as Business Unit President for South East Asia, overseeing operations in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. Prior to that, he led the Vietnam business as Managing Director, and earlier served as Sales Director for Mondelez India, where he played a key role in shaping the sales transformation agenda.
Before Mondelēz, Hemant held leadership positions at Britannia Industries Ltd. as VP – Sales & Business Head (Breads), where he was instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding distribution. His early career also includes over five years at Vodafone India Ltd., where he progressed through various senior roles including National Distribution Head and VP – Sales & Marketing across multiple circles such as UP East and Orissa.
Hemant also brings earlier FMCG expertise from his time at PepsiCo Foods Ltd, where he served in strategic roles including VP – Channel Marketing and VP – Planning, supporting national trade and operations for the beverages business.
With over two decades of rich leadership experience across sales, marketing, and business strategy, Hemant is poised to steer HCCB through its next phase of growth, innovation, and sustainable impact.
