Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Hitesh Sood has been appointed as Vice President & Head – B2B Subscription and Partnerships (Digital Business) at Sony Pictures Networks India. In his new role, he will focus on expanding SonyLIV’s global distribution, driving strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer engagement through collaborations with telcos, banks, and content aggregators.
Before joining Sony Pictures Networks India, Hitesh was Marketing Director at Renna Mobile, a subsidiary of Omantel, where he led market expansion strategies. Prior to that, he served as Head of Digital Content Business, Gaming, Partnerships & Service Bundling at Grameenphone Ltd., where he successfully launched OTT content, music, and gaming services, increasing monthly active users (MAU) by 4X.
He has also held key leadership positions at Globacom, Vodafone Idea Limited, and Reliance Communications, where he specialized in brand building, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and strategic alliances.
An MBA graduate in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Hitesh brings deep expertise in digital content monetization, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. His appointment reflects Sony Pictures Networks India’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and scaling its digital business.
