Paris, France, October 2024 – Hubert Van Nuvel has been appointed as the Chief People Officer Western and Central Europe at IVC Evidensia, a leading veterinary group dedicated to the health and happiness of animals and their owners. In his new role, Hubert will oversee the human resources strategy and operations across the Western and Central Europe regions, ensuring the effective alignment of talent management with business goals. His extensive background in global HR leadership will be pivotal in driving the company’s growth and success.
Before joining IVC Evidensia, Hubert served as the Global Commercial HR Senior Vice President at Levi Strauss & Co. for over three years. In this role, he led HR initiatives across six clusters worldwide, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and driving organizational effectiveness. Hubert played a key role in aligning HR strategies with the global commercial team’s objectives and supporting business expansion.
Prior to that, Hubert held the position of VP HR Europe at Levi Strauss & Co., where he successfully managed HR operations across 22 countries and 5,000 employees. Under his leadership, employee engagement significantly improved, and the company achieved exceptional business results through diversification and growth in new consumer segments.
Earlier in his career, Hubert served as VP HR Mars Petcare Europe, overseeing human resources for 11 plants and three R&D centers across the region. His efforts in engagement, talent development, and organizational change management helped Mars Petcare achieve recognition as a top employer in Europe, with consistently high engagement scores and strong business outcomes.
