Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands, December 2025 – Royal Cosun has appointed Inge Kerkaert as the Business Director of Cosun Ingredients, marking a strategic addition to its leadership team as the organization continues to focus on sustainable growth through plant-based innovation and global partnerships.
Kerkaert brings a rich and diverse portfolio of commercial and strategic leadership roles across the food and ingredients industry. Most recently, she was with La Lorraine Bakery Group, where she served as Commercial Leader and Director of Business Development, overseeing market expansion strategies and building partnerships across Europe.
Prior to that, Inge spent over 17 years at Cargill, where she held multiple senior leadership positions including Senior Executive Director – Texture, President of Cargill Haubourdin SAS, and Global Strategic Marketing Senior Director. In these roles, she had end-to-end P&L responsibility, led asset and commercial strategies across global texturizer lines, and crafted marketing roadmaps that shaped long-term portfolio growth.
Earlier in her career, she held impactful positions at Puratos, including Product Line Manager – Margarines, R&D Manager, and Research Scientist, strengthening her foundation in food innovation and product development. She also contributed to industry advancement through her leadership roles at USIPA and Fevia, Belgium’s leading food industry associations.
