Pérama, Attiki, Greece, July 2025 – Ioannis V has taken on the role of Chief People Officer at ERMA TECH GROUP, where he will lead the organization’s global people strategy. In his new role, Ioannis will focus on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture, and driving organizational transformation as ERMA TECH GROUP accelerates its international growth. He will also oversee talent acquisition, leadership development, DEI initiatives, employee engagement, and total rewards.
Before joining ERMA TECH GROUP, Ioannis served as Group HR Director at Seagull Maritime for over a year, where he played a pivotal role in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals. He led organizational change initiatives, implemented performance appraisal systems, and championed employee engagement and professional development programs.
Previously, Ioannis worked as a Freelance Consultant for four years, specializing in HR consulting, mental health counseling, and serving as an accredited lecturer at the University of Derby – Mediterranean College. His work focused on promoting workplace well-being, leadership development, and HR best practices.
Earlier in his career, Ioannis held the position of HR Development Manager at ELINOIL S.A., where he was responsible for workforce planning, recruitment, training programs, and performance management processes. He also managed compensation and benefits strategies and played a key role in enhancing employee satisfaction and organizational culture.
Ioannis’s experience also includes roles such as HR Business Partner at Unilever and HR Supervisor at ARKAS Hellas Group, where he contributed to HR strategy execution, talent management, and change management. His early career includes key HR positions at Ocean Rig, Samsung Greece, and Bank of Cyprus, where he gained extensive expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
