Long Beach, California, United States, September 2025 — Irene Villanueva has started a new position at Glass House Brands Inc. as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, Irene will champion a people-first culture, strengthen leadership capability, and align HR practices with the company’s values of sustainability, community, and operational excellence.
Irene joins Glass House Brands after her tenure at Liberated Brands, where she guided HR strategies across a dynamic portfolio of lifestyle businesses, supporting growth and cultural transformation.
Previously, she contributed to VOLCOM and UFC GYM, where she worked closely with leadership teams to enhance employee engagement, scale people operations, and build resilient organizational cultures.
She also held senior HR responsibilities at ASICS America and Deckers Brands, supporting enterprise-wide talent strategies, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness across diverse divisions.
Earlier in her career, Irene played key roles at LSPACE by Monica Wise, C&C Companies, Swell, eMachines, and CompUSA, where she helped shape HR foundations, drive cultural change, and establish scalable practices to support evolving businesses.
