Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 – Ivan Saha has been appointed as CEO – Renewable Manufacturing at Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra), bringing over 30 years of experience in semiconductors, solar technology, and device design. In this role, he will lead RInfra’s strategic expansion into solar manufacturing, driving innovation, scaling production, and enhancing India’s clean energy capabilities. His appointment marks a significant step in RInfra’s renewable energy growth strategy.
Ivan Saha joins Reliance Infrastructure after serving as CEO of Vikram Solar, where he played a key role in manufacturing capacity expansion and global solar market development. Before that, he was Chief Technology Officer at ReNew Power, where he focused on advancing solar technology and optimizing business operations to accelerate India’s transition to renewable energy.
Earlier, Ivan held multiple leadership positions at Moser Baer Photovoltaic Ltd., where he spearheaded process technology advancements, R&D, and reliability engineering for crystalline silicon solar cells. Prior to that, he spent over 12 years at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), leading high-focus strategic projects in solar cell development, MEMS sensors, and actuator innovations. His deep expertise in semiconductor technology and advanced materials has positioned him as a key leader in India’s clean energy landscape.
Ivan holds an M.Tech. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he was the batch topper in 1992. He also earned a B.Tech. in Ceramics from the University of Calcutta, where he actively participated in sports and extracurricular activities.
At Reliance Infrastructure, he will drive the company’s efforts in solar manufacturing, strengthening India’s position in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. His leadership will be instrumental in scaling up production, fostering technological innovation, and reinforcing RInfra’s commitment to a greener future.
