Hyderabad, Telangana, India, October 2024 – Jahangir Baba has started a new position as the Head of the Talent Acquisition Group for India at ValueMomentum. In this role, Jahangir will lead recruitment strategies and talent acquisition operations for the company’s India-based teams, ensuring that the talent pipeline aligns with the company’s growth objectives and operational needs across the country.
Jahangir has been with ValueMomentum for over 16 years, where he has held various roles within the Talent Acquisition Group (TAG). Prior to his current role, he served as the Associate Director – US TAG, where he oversaw talent acquisition efforts for the US market, leading key initiatives to identify top talent in the technology sector. His tenure in this position, lasting over two years, allowed him to contribute significantly to the company’s growth in the North American market.
Before becoming Associate Director, Jahangir was the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, a role he held for four years, in which he played a pivotal role in developing recruitment strategies, building strong talent pipelines, and streamlining recruitment processes. Additionally, he served as the Manager of Talent Acquisition Group, where he spent over a decade honing his skills in end-to-end recruitment processes, making a significant impact on the company’s talent strategy.
Earlier in his career, Jahangir worked as a Technical Recruiter for a US-based IT staffing firm, where he gained experience in sourcing and recruiting candidates for various IT job requisitions, both contract and full-time, and was responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
