Calhoun, Georgia, United States, February 2025 – Jaime Colón has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources at Mohawk Industries. In this role, he will oversee HR strategy, talent management, and workforce development for the company, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, leadership development, and operational excellence.
Jaime has been with Mohawk Industries for over six years, holding multiple leadership roles in human resources and organizational development.
Prior to this promotion, he served as Senior Director of Human Resources, where he played a pivotal role in HR strategy, talent acquisition, and employee relations. Before that, he was Human Resources Director, leading workforce planning and HR operations across key business divisions. His earlier roles at Mohawk include Senior HR Manager, HR Manager, and HR Manager for the Commercial Division, where he contributed to diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement programs, and strategic workforce planning.
Before joining Mohawk Industries, Jaime worked at Harris Corporation, where he served as a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting the corporate finance organization. He also led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives for the company’s Space and Intelligence Systems segment, reinforcing a culture of belonging and engagement.
Jaime’s HR expertise is further backed by his experience as an Academic Contractor at Eli Lilly and Company, where he focused on diversity training, recruitment strategies, and benchmarking best practices. He also worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at IUPUI School of Science, contributing to applied psychology research and data analysis.
