Under his stewardship, the company witnessed a 35% CAGR, a dramatic e-commerce revenue expansion from 2% to 36%, and successful fundraising of USD 75 million from leading global investors including Premji Invest and NewQuest Asia. His financial acumen and operational leadership have contributed immensely to scaling iD Fresh’s distinctive direct-to-retail business model, which services over 30,000 retail outlets daily using a proprietary logistics fleet.
Before joining iD Fresh Food, Jaipal held finance leadership positions at Urban Ladder, where he led turnaround efforts and offline expansion strategies; Arvind Fashions Limited, where he launched international and private-label brands; and Mahindra Retail Pvt. Ltd., where he executed the acquisition and integration of Babyoye. He has also served in senior roles at Marks and Spencer, DIAB, and AkzoNobel, gaining extensive experience in cross-border operations, vendor consolidation, business restructuring, and investor relations.
