Melville, New York, United States, January 2025 – Jami Schultz has been promoted to Vice President, Corporate Human Resources at Canon USA. With a career at Canon USA spanning 14 years, Jami will now lead the corporate human resources function, driving strategic HR initiatives and contributing to the company’s mission of “Kyosei”—living and working together for the common good.
Jami most recently served as Senior Director/GM, Corporate Human Resources at Canon USA, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership during her tenure of 10 months. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Director, Employee Relations and Development for over 13 years, where she developed and implemented innovative HR strategies, enhancing employee engagement and fostering organizational growth.
Before joining Canon USA, Jami gained significant HR and legal expertise through diverse roles. At Luxottica, she served as a Consultant, providing strategic guidance for HR operations. Her six-year tenure at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President saw her navigating complex employee relations and HR initiatives. Earlier in her career, Jami worked as an Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she honed her skills in labor and employment law.
Jami holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School, where she developed a strong foundation in legal frameworks and strategic thinking, which have significantly influenced her career in human resources leadership.
