New York City, New York, March 2025 – Janet Hefferan has joined Contango as the Director of People, bringing extensive experience in human resources, talent management, and organizational development. In her new role, she will oversee HR strategy, employee engagement, and workforce planning, driving a culture of excellence within the organization.
Hefferan previously served at Novo, where she held progressive HR leadership roles over three years. As Senior Human Resources Generalist, she managed employee relations, talent development, and compensation strategies, ensuring HR processes aligned with business objectives. Before that, she was HR Generalist, supporting workforce engagement and policy enhancements.
Prior to Novo, Hefferan spent over three years at Electric AI as People Operations Manager, leading HR policies, benefits administration, and employee experience initiatives. She also gained valuable HR operations experience at TwentyPine, a Mitchell Martin Company, where she supported executive search and talent acquisition efforts for the Salesforce ecosystem.
Earlier in her career, Hefferan held HR and administrative roles at Betts Recruiting, Winged Keel Group, and News Corporation, where she honed her expertise in HR administration, recruitment, and executive support. Her diverse background across HR operations, people management, and organizational culture makes her a strong addition to Contango.
