Princeton, New Jersey, United States, July 2024 – Jarred Finamore has started a new role as Vice President – Human Resources at NRG Energy. In this capacity, Jarred will lead HR initiatives, driving strategies to enhance employee engagement and organizational development across NRG’s extensive workforce.
Jarred Finamore has been with NRG Energy for nearly a decade. Prior to his new role, he served as the Senior Director – Human Resources, managing strategic HR initiatives and supporting NRG Home, Corporate, and NRG Services. His leadership in these areas contributed significantly to NRG’s vision of a smarter, cleaner, digitally-enhanced energy ecosystem.
Before this, Jarred was the Director – Human Resources for nearly three years, leading a team of business partners in supporting NRG’s retail electricity business across the United States and Canada. His efforts in evolving the power market to become more sustainable and reliable were pivotal.
Earlier in his career at NRG, Jarred held the position of Senior Manager – Human Resources, where he led HR, recruiting, and payroll support for over 1,200 employees within NRG Home. He also played a crucial role in the wind-down of NRG’s Home Solar division.
Prior to joining NRG, Jarred worked at Michael Page as a Recruitment Consultant, specializing in placing candidates in various sectors. He also held positions at Business Licenses, LLC as a Corporate Associate and at Wakefern Food Corporation as a Labor Relations Compliance Analyst. His early career includes experience as a Clinical Attorney at Rutgers Law School and a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Ira E. Kreizman, J.S.C..
