Chicago, Illinois, United States, November 2025 — Jason N. Spigner has taken on the role of Chief Operating and People Officer at Sinai Chicago, marking a significant milestone in his nearly nine-year journey with the organization. In this expanded mandate, Jason will oversee multi-hospital operations and system-wide people functions, with a focus on driving financial recovery, workforce stability, cultural transformation, and leadership accountability across the health system.
Jason previously served as Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer & Chief DEI Officer at Sinai Chicago, where he led human resources strategy across four hospitals, 800 physicians, and more than 4,000 caregivers. During this tenure, he aligned talent strategy with organizational priorities, strengthened workforce culture, advanced diversity and inclusion, and enhanced operational efficiency. His collaborative approach with the Board of Directors and senior leadership supported executive succession planning, performance culture, and strategic workforce planning.
Prior to joining Sinai Chicago, Jason spent over 14 years at Advocate Health Care, Illinois’ largest healthcare system at the time, where he held multiple executive HR leadership roles across hospitals and service lines. He successfully led large-scale cultural transformation initiatives, operational excellence programs, and merger & acquisition integration efforts — enabling financial improvement, workforce engagement, and continuity in patient care delivery.
