Javed Shaikh joins bigbasket.com after serving as the Associate Director – Head of Learning and Development at Cuemath for approximately 8 months. In this role, he developed the L&D strategy for the organization, partnered with senior leaders to integrate learning activities into wider talent management initiatives, and provided coaching and mentoring to top talents.
Prior to Cuemath, Javed was the Associate Vice President – Performance Consulting at Fourth Quadrant for about 6 months. He spearheaded impactful behavioral training programs for diverse clients, conducted context studies, and tailored content to meet unique client requirements. He also led Train-the-Trainer sessions for effective program rollouts.
Javed also served as a Content Architect & Developer at SherlockSuperCoach.AI for around 10 months, where he created compelling content for the Sherlock Coaching App, strategized content fitment, and conducted internal learning sessions for the team.
Before that, he was the Assistant Manager Training at De Beers Group for approximately 10 months. He spearheaded training operations, including product and brand training, and initiated mystery shopping to improve store staff training.
Javed has also worked at Centum Learning Limited (part of upGrad) for around 3 years and 1 month, holding roles such as Training and Development Consultant and Divisional Manager. He conducted needs diagnostics studies, designed and executed learning programs, and managed trainer engagement.
In earlier roles, Javed was the Deputy Chief Manager – Corporate Sales Training at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Senior Manager – Training & Content at Achievers Zone India Pvt Ltd, and Partner Associate: Learning & Development at Zing Events & Promotion Pvt Ltd. He managed training calendars, conducted leadership development programs, and led training interventions.
Javed began his career as an Associate Consultant: Learning & Development at Chrysalis HRD, where he interacted with clients to understand their business requirements, identified areas of development, and delivered learning solutions.
