Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Jayeeta Dasgupta has joined Ingredion as Country HR Manager – India. In this role, she will be heading HR operations across all entities of Ingredion in India, driving strategic alignment of people practices with business objectives and strengthening the organization’s culture and workforce development.
Before joining Ingredion, Jayeeta was Head of Human Resources at CHRYSO India, part of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals, where she spent over five years leading HR operations. She played a pivotal role in scaling the workforce from 150 to over 450 employees, deploying a robust performance management system, and launching the CHRYSO Learning Academy to enhance employee skills and productivity. Her efforts in organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and HR policy design created long-term value for the company.
Earlier, Jayeeta served as Assistant General Manager – HR at Hindustan Platinum, where she was responsible for HR operations and talent management. She successfully introduced 23 new HR policies, implemented competency mapping, and led compensation restructuring initiatives, including the rollout of Choice Pay. She also strengthened compliance and learning programs to support organizational growth.
Prior to that, she spent nearly eight years with the Welspun Group, serving in progressive HR leadership roles. As Assistant General Manager – HR and Senior Manager – HR, she was instrumental in SAP HCM implementation, HR policy revamps, and leading corporate HR operations. In her earlier tenure at Welspun, she managed HR operations as Manager and Assistant Manager, building a solid foundation in HR business partnering and people management.
Jayeeta began her career with Tata Technologies as a Functional Analyst, where she worked on SAP-HCM implementation projects for leading clients including TCS and Tata Motors. She also gained early experience through a traineeship with Power Finance Corporation Ltd., specializing in training and development.
