United States, May 2024 – Jean Meussner has joined RWJBarnabas Health as the new Vice President of Human Resources. Bringing a wealth of experience in human resources management, Jean is set to enhance RWJBarnabas Health’s HR operations and support its workforce.
Before joining RWJBarnabas Health, Jean served at Huntington Hospital for nearly 3 years as the Executive Director of Human Resources. In this role, she led a team of HR professionals overseeing employee relations, HRIS, talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation/LOA, and compensation. Her leadership significantly improved HR functions and employee engagement at the hospital.
Prior to her tenure at Huntington Hospital, Jean held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles for almost 3 years. Here, she was responsible for driving HR strategies and managing HR operations to support the hospital’s mission and goals.
Jean’s experience also includes her role as an HR Business Partner at University of California, Health Sciences and University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where she provided strategic HR consultation and support to various departments.
Earlier in her career, Jean worked at Kindred Healthcare as the District Director of Human Resources for over 7 years, managing HR operations for 13 hospitals across southern California. Her experience also spans roles such as Human Resources Director at Jenner’s Pond, Inc. and Medata Resources, LLC., and Human Resources Generalist at Southern Chester County Medical Center.
