Austin, Texas, United States, September 2025 — Jennifer Seidner has been promoted to Chief People Officer at Torchy’s Tacos, where she will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and leadership team. In this expanded role, she will lead all aspects of the People function, including HR strategy, talent acquisition, total rewards, organizational development, and HR business partnerships, while advancing the company’s people-first culture and supporting its nationwide growth.
Jennifer has been an integral part of Torchy’s Tacos for nearly seven years, most recently serving as Vice President, People. During her tenure, she played a key role in restructuring HR and field operations to align with rapid growth, launching multi-level leadership development programs, rolling out engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale, modernizing people analytics, and aligning people priorities with business objectives for over 5,400 team members across multiple states.
Before joining Torchy’s, Jennifer spent over two decades at Walmart, where she held senior leadership positions across talent management, diversity and inclusion, and executive recruiting. She served as Sr. Director and Product Owner, Associate Progression, Senior Director, Talent Management, Senior Director, Global Diversity and Inclusion, and Senior Director, U.S. Talent Acquisition, among other roles. Her responsibilities spanned large-scale talent strategies, succession planning, diversity program execution, workforce planning, and recruitment for over 1.2 million associates across the U.S.
Earlier in her career at Walmart, Jennifer gained extensive experience in HR leadership and talent acquisition, serving as Diversity Program Manager, HR Analyst, College Recruiting Coordinator, and Customer Service Manager. These formative roles allowed her to build expertise in workforce planning, diversity metrics, and recruitment program development while shaping Walmart’s national strategies in talent and culture.
