Atlanta, Georgia, United States, December 2024 – Jenny Ridgeway has taken on a new role as Director of Talent Management at Smurfit WestRock. In her new position, Jenny will collaborate with business leaders and HR teams to lead comprehensive talent management strategies, focusing on leadership development, organizational culture, and diversity and inclusion across the company’s Corrugated business in the United States and Canada.
Jenny’s responsibilities include driving end-to-end talent processes, leveraging data analytics to inform strategic initiatives, fostering a talent-centric culture, and contributing to organizational design and transformation initiatives. Her leadership will be instrumental in enhancing Smurfit WestRock’s talent management programs.

Jenny joined Smurfit WestRock in 2024 as Director of Project Change Management, where she led a diverse team in implementing ERP solutions, developing over 100 training courses, and rolling out business system upgrades globally. Her work facilitated smoother transitions and operational efficiency across the organization.
Previously, Jenny served as Director of Continuous Improvement & Quality at Victory Packaging, where she optimized management systems, maintained ISO certifications, and improved operational processes across 65 locations in North America. She also established a central project management team to enhance division-wide projects and special initiatives.
Jenny also held leadership roles at Zirtual as General Manager, where she managed a remote team of 400, optimized operations through innovative management systems, and enhanced service delivery. Her efforts significantly improved organizational efficiency and staff engagement.
She began her professional career as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, where she developed and implemented innovative curriculums that improved communication and learning outcomes for students.
