Sasono’s journey at Bukalapak began in February 2021 as Vice President of Talent and CEO Office, a role he held for nearly a year before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Talent. Over this period, he made significant contributions to the company’s talent strategies, both in Indonesia and across its global offices, preparing him well for his current executive leadership role.

Before joining Bukalapak, Sasono was part of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he served as a Project Leader and Consultant from August 2018 to February 2021. During his tenure, he led various strategic projects that enhanced organizational efficiencies and talent management processes in the Greater Jakarta area. Additionally, he was an HR Business Partner Manager at GO-JEK, where he managed a robust team and led major organizational changes that significantly improved the company’s operational agility and HR processes.

Sasono’s early career includes a notable stint at ConocoPhillips Indonesia, where he started as a Business Apprentice and rapidly advanced to an HR System Analyst. His work at ConocoPhillips was marked by implementing strategic HR systems and processes across the Asia Pacific region, showcasing his capability in using technology to drive HR efficiencies.
