Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, December 2025 — Publicis Groupe has appointed Jessica Farrell as its Chief People Officer, marking a significant leadership milestone following her multi-year journey across senior people and culture roles within the organization. In this expanded role, Farrell will lead the global people agenda, strengthening culture, capability, inclusion, and workforce strategy across one of the world’s largest communications and marketing groups.
Prior to her appointment as Chief People Officer, Jessica Farrell served as General Manager, People & Culture at Publicis Groupe, where she played a central role in advancing people strategy across the ANZ region. Before this, she was Head of People & Culture Australia, contributing to major people, culture, and DEI initiatives that supported Publicis Groupe’s recognition as Australian HR Team of the Year at the HR Awards 2023. Earlier within the Group, she held roles including People & Culture Director and People and Culture Manager, progressively expanding her leadership scope and impact.
Before joining Publicis Groupe, Farrell built strong international HR experience as HR Manager, United Kingdom & Ireland at Nike, where she supported people operations across key European markets.
She also held regional people leadership roles at Virgin Active, including People Manager, Asia Pacific, working across multiple countries in the region. Earlier in her career, she gained foundational HR experience with organizations such as Red Bull, Virgin Active, Doltone House, and Oroton Group, covering recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, and workforce development.
