London, United Kingdom – November 2024 – Jessica Swan has assumed her new role as Head of Talent at the University of Greenwich. In this role, Jessica will drive talent development and strategic initiatives to enhance the university’s commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.
Jessica’s career at the University of Greenwich has spanned over nine years. Most recently, she served as Head of Employer Engagement in the Employability and Apprenticeships directorate, where she led initiatives to bridge employer partnerships, manage career mentoring programs, and oversee student placements and internships. Under her leadership, her team delivered impactful projects that strengthened the university’s engagement with industry partners and enhanced student employability.
Before that, Jessica was the Employability Manager at the Greenwich Business School, where she focused on student career support, 1:1 coaching, and facilitating internships. She launched various employability programs, such as the Greenwich Employability Passport and Career Mentoring, earning her the Inspirational Leader of The Year Award 2021. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Higher Education Employability Adviser, where she expanded the Career Mentoring Scheme, connecting students with industry mentors.
