Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Jiel Narvekar has been appointed as the Head – Human Resources at Ottobock, a global MedTech leader in prosthetics, neuro-orthotics, and exoskeletons. In her new role, Jiel will lead the HR function for Ottobock India, driving people strategy, culture transformation, and talent initiatives to strengthen the company’s growth and innovation in the healthcare technology space. She will also serve as a strategic HR business partner, aligning workforce capabilities with organizational goals and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture across the company.
Before joining Ottobock, Jiel served as HR Business Partner at Keva – Fragrances, Flavours & Aroma Ingredients, where she supported large global accounts and fragrance business operations, managing people initiatives that enhanced engagement and business alignment. Her role focused on strategic workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development within a dynamic business environment.
Prior to Keva, Jiel was associated with Rich Products Corporation as Deputy General Manager – HR, leading HR operations and employee development initiatives for the company’s India business. She was instrumental in designing talent management frameworks and implementing culture-building programs that fostered collaboration and inclusion.
Earlier, Jiel spent nearly a decade with Firmenich, one of the world’s leading fragrance and flavor houses, where she held multiple HR leadership roles including HR Business Partner, HR Manager – Recruitment & Talent, and Manager – Talent Acquisition & Training. During her tenure, she played a key role in talent acquisition, learning and development, and HR transformation across the India, Middle East, and Africa regions.
She began her HR career with Etisalat DB Telecom, Writer Corporation, and Contactx Resource Management, gaining comprehensive experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee engagement. Over the years, Jiel has developed deep expertise in talent management, cultural transformation, and leadership capability development, making her a strategic asset in her new role at Ottobock.
