New York, United States, October 2025 — Mastercard has announced the appointment of Jill Kramer as its new Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO), effective December 1, 2025. In this role, Jill will oversee Mastercard’s global marketing, brand, and communications strategies, with a focus on strengthening its reputation as a technology-driven, purpose-led company operating across more than 200 countries and territories. She will lead integrated efforts to advance Mastercard’s global brand narrative, enhance stakeholder engagement, and further elevate its digital and customer experience presence worldwide.
Jill joins Mastercard after a distinguished nine-year tenure at Accenture, where she most recently served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. At Accenture, she played a pivotal role in reshaping the company’s brand positioning and communications strategy, helping transform it into one of the most recognized global brands in digital innovation and consulting. She also held leadership roles as Senior Managing Director, Global Brand, and Managing Director, Global Brand, where she led high-impact campaigns, built a consistent global brand voice, and fostered cross-market collaboration in brand storytelling and digital engagement.
Prior to her leadership at Accenture, Jill built her foundation in creative and strategic marketing through an impressive agency career. She spent over five years at BBDO Worldwide, where she served as EVP Senior Director and VP, Account Director, partnering with major global brands to develop breakthrough advertising and integrated communication strategies. Her tenure at BBDO was marked by several successful brand repositioning initiatives and creative campaigns that deepened consumer connections and drove measurable business outcomes.
Jill also held key leadership roles at DDB and Rodgers Townsend, where she honed her expertise in marketing strategy, account leadership, and creative management. At Rodgers Townsend, she served for over a decade, overseeing large client portfolios and leading award-winning campaigns that cemented her reputation as a marketing strategist with a strong creative lens. Jill began her career at Trans World Airlines (TWA), gaining early experience in customer engagement and service marketing, which shaped her people-first approach to brand and communication leadership.
